Our First Dive!
After a good night sleep, with very succinct directions we made our way to the sailboat. A russian man took pity on us (the combination of being foreigners, having our massive dive bags) and made sure that we got off at the right stop, hopped (or rather lugged) back onto another one and ended up in 'жбф' - the shanty pier where our boat was moored.
With our sailboat reached, our kit set up we ̶s̶e̶t̶ ̶s̶a̶i̶l̶ ̶ started the engine and headed out to our first dive site. At the surface the water was not salty at all as you dropped down you could see the fresh water and the salty water mix as it made a very clear halocline. The dive was very nice. Lots of MASSIVE squidgy things and mating crabs. Water temperature was a toasty 7°C. Nice pleasant bimbly dive!
